Sports News] Yang Chen, a retired Chinese badminton player, ventured into a
business career after leaving the sport. He established his own badminton brand
called “De Xing.” Since its launch, the brand has achieved remarkable
sales, with annual racket sales surpassing millions of units. The products have
gained popularity on major e-commerce platforms, consistently ranking among the
top sellers. Despite his business pursuits, Yang Chen remains deeply involved
in the world of badminton. Alongside racket sales, he actively engages in
badminton training, coach and referee development, and children’s badminton
programs. He aspires to contribute to the country by nurturing talented players
in the future. Yang Chen had an illustrious career as a player, securing second
place in men’s doubles at the 2011 National Youth Championship, winning the
men’s team championship at the 2013 National Games, and claiming the 2015 China
Badminton Super League championship. Unfortunately, a football-related injury
in 2015 forced him to retire prematurely, which was indeed regrettable.
