[Saba Sports News] Recently, Bukayo Saka, the current
England international, shared an update on his social media platforms. He
revealed that he had flown from London to Nigeria to celebrate Nigeria’s
Independence Day in his hometown. In the photos shared by Saka, he can be seen
celebrating the occasion with his relatives and friends, creating a joyful
atmosphere. Although Saka was born in London and holds English nationality, his
parents hail from Nigeria. Therefore, Nigeria’s Independence Day holds great
significance for them, prompting their decision to return to Nigeria and
partake in the celebrations. Saka emerged through the youth academy of Arsenal
and made his first-team debut in 2018. He played a crucial role in Arsenal
winning the English FA Cup during the 2019-20 season. In 2023, Saka was honored
with the PFA’s Best Young Player award.
