[Saba Sports News] Indian captain Rohit Sharma quickly became a topic of discussion on social media after he was seen advising Sarfaraz Khan to don a helmet while fielding close to the batsman.
The viral video from X (formerly Twitter) showcases Rohit cautioning Sarfaraz, saying, “aye bhai, zyada hero mat ban.” This occurred during the 47th over of England’s second innings, where Sarfaraz was positioned close to the batsman without a helmet, a move also flagged by the match official for safety reasons.
In the ongoing fourth Test in Ranchi, India is in a promising position to secure the series. The series kicked off with England clinching the initial match in Hyderabad, but India, led by Rohit Sharma, bounced back by winning the subsequent games in Vizag and Rajkot.
England started strong in Ranchi with a first-innings score of 353, but India managed to limit England to 307 in their first innings. England’s second innings saw a dip in performance, allowing India to excel with the ball, dismissing England for 145.
R Ashwin led the bowling attack with five wickets, supported by Kuldeep Yadav with four and Jadeja with one. India now needs 192 runs to win and claim the series in Ranchi.
