Sports News] According to British media reports, prior to the FA Cup match
between Millwall and Leicester City, two Millwall fans made a gesture mimicking
a plane crash and targeted former Leicester City chairman Vichai. Vichai
tragically passed away in a helicopter accident in 2018. Just before the game,
the two Millwall fans were seen making the offensive gesture towards the
opposing team’s former chairman. Stadium staff were observed engaging with the
two fans after a video of the incident was shared on social media. London
police later confirmed that the two individuals had been detained and removed
from the stadium. The police issued a statement stating that the two men would
be summoned for breaching the Public Order Act, and they were also searching
for a third person in connection with the incident. This behavior by the two
Millwall fans was highly inappropriate and disrespectful towards a serious
event.
