Sports News] Ahead of the new MotoGP season, a three-day test race was held in
Malaysia, and Marc Marquez, the Spanish rider of the Ducati Satellite Team,
took part in it. On the final day of the test race, Marquez finished sixth,
just six tenths of a second behind the factory Ducati rider Francesco Bagnaia.
In an interview following the race, Marquez openly admitted that he still has
some way to go before reaching the top level. He acknowledged that there is a
speed gap between himself and the leading riders but expressed his
determination to leave no stone unturned in bridging that gap. Marquez comes
from a racing family, with his father having trained him since childhood to
become a racer. With his exceptional skills, Marquez has won six consecutive
MotoGP world championships, making him a prominent figure in the sport’s
65-year history. He holds the distinction of being the youngest world champion
in MotoGP history. This season, Marquez has made the switch to the Ducati
satellite team, Gresini Racing Team.
