Kane: “I’ve been at Tottenham for a long time and all my friends are still in London, so it’s still a bit strange sometimes, but football and life is like that, but you go on a new adventure and you focus on that. I worked hard to find a place to live, to learn the language, to meet new team-mates and the team, and your focus is just on the moment. Maybe at first it was a bit strange watching Tottenham from the sidelines because I wasn’t on the pitch, but I am now focused on Bayern and helping the team to be as successful as possible.”

“I’m excited to be at Bayern, I’m proud, I don’t regret leaving Tottenham, I’m happy with my start at Bayern, when you join a new team there is always pressure because there are expectations, the club has paid a lot of money to bring you in and of course the fans want to see you perform well, score goals and win games, but it’s not always easy. Apart from football, I had a lot of personal things to deal with when I moved to a new place, looking for a house, staying in a hotel and being separated from my family, which I was not used to, so I am proud to have started so well. Of course, I often feel that I could have scored more because I had so many chances to score, but overall I am happy with my performance at Bayern.” Kane has played 10 games for Bayern this season, scoring 9 goals and 5 assists.
