World Tour Finals have begun. In the women’s singles final, Chinese Taipei’s
Tai Tzu-Ying faced Spanish star Marine. In a thrilling comeback, Tai Tzu-Ying
emerged victorious, claiming the championship and achieving her fourth crown.
Following the match, Tai Tzu-Ying’s junior fellow apprentice from Taipei, Lee
Yang, recently shared his thoughts on the event. He expressed his congratulations
to Tai Tzu-Ying for her championship win and pledged to work hard in his own
badminton journey. His goal is to secure qualification for the Paris Olympics.
Lee Yang is Tai Tzu-Ying’s junior fellow apprentice. While his badminton career
may not be as illustrious, he has still achieved notable success. His most
significant accomplishment was winning the gold medal in the men’s doubles
competition at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Subsequently, he was appointed as an
associate professor at the National Sports University, becoming the
university’s youngest badminton coach.
