Sports News] Current Colombian star player James Rodriguez recently discussed
his previous playing career at Bayern in an interview with the media. He
expressed his thoughts, saying, “First of all, it was very cold there, and
the Germans seemed quite reserved. Although I was treated well and had the
support of everyone at the club, adapting to the subzero weather was not easy.
The city’s quality was high, but the weather posed challenges for me.”
After these remarks were published, German fans flooded Rodriguez’s social
media platforms with criticisms, questioning his commitment and stating,
“You’ve played for so many clubs, yet you couldn’t establish yourself as a
star in one club,” and “No wonder you couldn’t handle the climate.
Maybe you should stick to playing in Brazil.” It seems that these remarks
have left many German fans feeling disappointed and have caused them to
perceive Rodriguez as indifferent. Rodriguez joined Bayern on a two-year loan
from Real Madrid in the summer window of 2017, with a loan fee of 13 million
euros. During his two seasons with Bayern, Rodriguez played a total of 67
games, scoring 15 goals and providing 20 assists.
