Sports News] The official winter test race for MotoGP recently commenced, with
riders from each team returning from their holidays to prepare for the upcoming
season. However, Jack Miller, a racer for Red Bull KTM Factory Racing MotoGP,
was unexpectedly absent. The reason for his absence was a hand injury sustained
during motocross practice in Townsville, Queensland, in December of the
previous year. Thankfully, he did not require surgery but needed an extended
period of rest, causing him to miss the MotoGP official winter test race. Known
as a renowned Australian rider, Miller joined the Red Bull KTM factory team
after leaving the Ducati team in 2022. This marks Miller’s tenth season in
MotoGP, and he is expected to play a leading role in the development of the Red
Bull RC16 motorcycle in the new season. The team aims to improve upon last
season’s results, where Miller achieved only two grand prix podiums and one
sprint podium.
