[Saba Sports News] The eagerly anticipated Pran Pratishtha Ceremony of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya is set for January 22, with the nation looking forward to this revered event. Several prominent cricket personalities have been invited, including legendary batter Sachin Tendulkar, World Cup winners Kapil Dev and MS Dhoni.
Current Indian cricketers, including captain Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, are among the invitees, with Kohli notably receiving his invitation in Mumbai alongside his wife, actress Anushka Sharma. Former India women’s captain Mithali Raj and current captain Harmanpreet Kaur are also on the invitee list.
Sachin Tendulkar was the first to be invited, followed by Dhoni, Kohli, Ravichandran Ashwin, and Harmanpreet Kaur. Kohli is expected to attend, having received permission from the BCCI. The Indian cricket team is currently in Hyderabad for a Test series against England starting January 25. Kohli plans to attend a practice session on January 21 before heading to Ayodhya for the ceremony.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also attend this significant event.
