[Saba Sports News] The 2024 F1 Chinese Grand Prix
is set to begin in April, and ticket sales have already commenced. However,
fans are expressing their dissatisfaction with the increase in ticket prices
compared to previous years. This year’s ticket prices for the Chinese Grand
Prix have seen a significant rise, with a 70% to 80% increase for those
interested in purchasing grandstand tickets. The organizers justify the price
increase by highlighting the new additions to the event. The introduction of a
sprint race and the inclusion of a music carnival are cited as reasons for the
higher ticket prices. The combination of speed, passion, music, and food has
contributed to the decision to raise the cost of attendance. In addition to
regular ticket options, a special ticket package has been introduced to
commemorate the 20th anniversary of the F1 China Grand Prix, priced at 3,360
yuan. To celebrate Chinese driver Zhou Guanyu’s first home race, a dedicated
“China Week” stand has been set up, offering a three-day package
priced at 2,660 yuan. Single-day tickets for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday will
also be available online, catering to fans who prefer to attend the event for
just one day and experience the atmosphere.
