The 76ers have sometimes rested Embiid in order to keep him healthy, but Embiid said: “I have to say for myself, I never take a break because of overload.” I want to play in every game. If I don’t play, it probably means something is not right, something the team thinks is not right. But as far as I’m concerned, I always want to play, that’s always my goal. You only have such a short time to play basketball and really enjoy it.”

“I’m 29 years old, I can play another 10 years, maybe more, we’ll see, maybe not that long, so you have to enjoy it as much as you can. You want to play as many games as you can. So, my goal is to play and if I don’t start, it means something is wrong.” Embiid continued.
