According to Fox Sports reporter Lopez, who obtained the details from special
channels, Lewis Hamilton, the seven-time F1 world champion, will be
transferring from Mercedes to Ferrari in 2025. Although Ferrari did not
officially disclose the contract details, the information obtained reveals a
three-part agreement. Firstly, for the years 2025 and 2026, Hamilton’s annual
salary will be 80 million euros, excluding performance-related bonuses.
Secondly, Ferrari will contribute 20 million euros to Hamilton’s Mission 44
project. Mission 44 is a charitable foundation initiated by Hamilton aimed at
providing inclusive and equal education and development opportunities for the
younger generation. Ferrari’s support ensures the future of Hamilton’s Mission
44 project through various additional measures. Thirdly, Ferrari Chairman John
Elkann has established a joint investment fund of approximately 250 million
euros through his family company, Exor. This fund will provide financial
resources for long-term collaborative projects between Hamilton and Ferrari.
Based on the information revealed, these are conditions that Toto Wolff, the
Mercedes-Benz CEO, could not offer to Hamilton.
