Sports News] The highly anticipated Malaysian Badminton Open is scheduled to
take place in early January next year. Recently, the draw for the tournament
was conducted, but the outcome of the draw has left Chinese badminton star Liu
Yuchen dissatisfied. It has been reported that Liu Yuchen and his partner will
face fellow Chinese players He Jiting and Ren Xiangyu in the first round of the
tournament, leading to an internal clash within the same group. Liu Yuchen
expressed his discontent on social media, openly questioning whether the draw
was conducted fairly or if it was manipulated by the Badminton World Federation
(BWF). In his post, Liu Yuchen wrote, “Is this really a random draw, or is
someone skillful in arranging it?” Following his complaint, fans and
internet users also voiced their concerns in the comments section, suggesting
that BWF intentionally targeted Chinese players. Some comments read, “BWF
deliberately wants to reduce the number of Chinese players participating in the
Paris Olympics,” “Scheduling an internal match in the first round is
excessive,” “We demand an explanation from BWF,” and “It is
evident that this was a deliberate arrangement.”
