[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, Kurt Zouma’s former agent has filed a multi-million pound lawsuit against former Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia and Chelsea. It is reported that Saif Alrubi, Zouma’s former agent, filed a claim in the London Circuit Commercial Court more than four months after being acquitted at Southwark Crown Court. Alrubi claims that Chelsea owes him agency fees for Zouma’s transfer to West Ham. Alrubi stated, “The past two and a half years have been very difficult. As a Chelsea fan and having maintained a productive business relationship with the club for many years, I am saddened that I have been forced to take this action. I sincerely hope we can reach a resolution on this long-standing issue.” After being acquitted, Alrubi revealed that he had requested a £300,000 commission from Granovskaia for Zouma’s transfer and attempted to recover this fee, resulting in him being taken to court. The jury learned during the trial in April that Alrubi was the intermediary for the deal and would receive a commission from any transfer fee exceeding €30 million.
