[Saba Sports News] The badminton competition at the Paris Olympics will begin on July 27th. Ahead of the games, teams from various countries have settled in the Olympic Village. However, due to the poor accommodation conditions, many athletes have expressed their dissatisfaction, including Chinese badminton mixed doubles star Zheng Siwei. According to Zheng Siwei, nine male members of the Chinese badminton team are sharing a house with only two small bathrooms, resulting in long queues for using the facilities. From the exposed video, it can be seen that the Chinese badminton team is staying in a suite in the China Building of the Olympic Village, which has only four bedrooms. Each bedroom is equipped with two beds made of cardboard for the eight players participating in the competition. One player even needs to sleep in a tent in the living room. This player is Zhang Jun, the head coach of the Chinese badminton team. Some fans have ridiculed this as the worst accommodation condition among recent Olympic Games, resembling conditions at middle school sports games. However, others have pointed out that the floor where the Chinese team is staying has central air conditioning, and a state banquet chef carefully prepares three meals a day. Compared to other countries, the logistical support is considered better.
