[Saba Sports News] Star Australia pacer Josh Hazlewood is expected to miss the first half of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024.
Hazlewood is expecting the birth of his child in March due to which he will be unavailable for the major part of IPL 2024.
As reported, he will start his IPL duties from May if gets picked by a team. All the franchises have been informed about this.
Notably, March 22 has been set as the tentative date for the commencement of the upcoming season of the IPL.
Hazlewood played only three matches for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the IPL 2023 due to an injury. Subsequently, he has been released by RCB ahead of IPL 2024.
The fast-bowler is included in the list of the players for the IPL 2024 auction. His name will come in Set-4, starting with the base price of INR 2 crore.
