[Saba Sports News] According to Japanese media reports, Wataru Endo, the Japanese midfielder playing for Liverpool, recently revealed on a TBS television program that he is learning Spanish. When discussing the reason for learning Spanish, Endo stated, “During team dinners, I noticed that many of my teammates communicate in Spanish, including Luis Diaz, Darwin Nunez, and Alisson Becker. Although they can also speak English, if I can learn Spanish, it would make communication with them much quicker and easier. I will start with the basics and gradually delve deeper.” It is worth mentioning that during his time at Stuttgart in the Bundesliga, Endo was already proficient in switching between German and English, and he even published an English textbook in Japan to teach readers everyday and business English. One must say, Endo is truly a language master. I wonder what Liverpool’s players think of Wataru Endo?
