Sports News] During the F1 off-season, Red Bull Racing driver Max Verstappen
participated in the virtual Daytona 24 Hours Endurance Race as a representative
of Team Redline. Despite being on vacation, Verstappen showcased his
exceptional abilities not only in real F1 races but also in the virtual world.
After a competitive race, Verstappen piloted his car to victory in the GTD
class, crossing the finish line first. In a post-race interview, Verstappen surprised
the media by revealing his plans to establish his own GT team for real
endurance races. He expressed his intention to participate in future events and
mentioned that preparations for his team were already underway. It’s worth
noting that the 24 Hours of Daytona is a significant racing event in the United
States and typically takes place on the last weekend of January or the first
weekend of February. It serves as an early-season race in the International
Motorsport Association Sports Car Championship.
