[Saba Sports News] In a recent media interview,
Max Verstappen, the current driver for F1 Red Bull Racing, disclosed a portion
of his agreement with the team. It was revealed that Red Bull Racing has
prohibited Verstappen from participating in certain risky sports activities
such as skiing and surfing. Verstappen mentioned, “I actually really enjoy
skiing, but due to the agreement with the team, I haven’t been able to ski for
the past five years.” This restriction is in place because the team does
not wish to shoulder the responsibility for any potential injuries or
consequences that may arise. They want to ensure Verstappen’s availability for
racing at all times. This precautionary measure is understandable, especially
after the skiing accident that left Schumacher unconscious. Other teams
naturally exercise strict control over their top drivers since finding
exceptional talents like Verstappen is rare. Red Bull Racing undoubtedly
considers Verstappen to be a vital asset to the team.
