[Saba Sports News] The rising star of the Minnesota Timberwolves, Anthony Edwards, celebrated the launch of his new Adidas AE1 signature sneaker with a powerful message:
“Believe this, believe you’re gonna be good… Believe you’re gonna turn down one dream for a bigger one. Believe you’ll be 22 with a deal ain’t nobody believe,” Edwards conveyed in the promotional campaign.
Edwards is quickly establishing himself as one of the NBA’s most promising talents. Averaging 26 points, five rebounds, and five assists per game, his recent performance against the Dallas Mavericks, where he scored 44 points, only solidifies his growing reputation.
While Edwards has been compared to the legendary Michael Jordan of the Chicago Bulls, he humbly downplays these comparisons. In a recent interview with Complex, Edwards acknowledged Jordan as the greatest player ever but humorously dismissed the idea of Jordan being able to guard him one-on-one. He did, however, concede that Jordan would undoubtedly score his points, albeit with difficulty.
Under Edwards’ leadership, the Timberwolves have achieved an impressive 24-7 record, leading the Western Conference standings. Their next challenge lies in a game against the New York Knicks on New Year’s Day.
