[Saba Sports News] The highly anticipated Paris Olympics will commence at the end of this month. PV Sindhu, India’s top-ranked badminton player, recently celebrated a significant event in her life – her 29th birthday. On her birthday, she took to social media and shared motivational messages, expressing her determination to strive for her ultimate goal of winning the Olympics. Some Indian media outlets have recently suggested that if Sindhu wants to compete for the gold medal, apart from delivering peak performances, it would be beneficial for her to learn from Chinese Taipei’s badminton player, Tai Tzu-Ying. Tai Tzu-Ying is known for her composure, whereas Sindhu, being an emotional player, tends to lose control when facing setbacks. Overcoming this aspect might be the key for Sindhu to achieve her ultimate goal of winning the Olympic gold medal. Sindhu comes from an athletic family, with both her parents being volleyball players. Influenced by her family background, she developed a love for sports from a young age and began actively participating in badminton at the age of 8. Sindhu boasts an impressive badminton record. She is the first Indian athlete to win two Olympic medals and the first Indian to become a badminton world champion.
