[Saba Sports News] As the La Liga season comes to a close, teams have begun their friendly matches. Recently, La Liga’s Real Sociedad traveled to Chiba City, Japan, where Japanese star Takefusa Kubo, currently playing for Real Sociedad, became the center of media attention. In an interview, Kubo revealed an interesting piece of information. He disclosed that as a child, he was a fan of Barcelona and even owned a jersey worn by former Barcelona star Ronaldinho. Kubo said, “I fell in love with football at a young age. Foreign stars, especially my idol Ronaldinho, fascinated me. I even collected his Barcelona jersey. It has always been my dream to play alongside my idol someday.” Kubo, often referred to as the “Japanese Messi,” showcased his football talent from a young age and joined Barcelona’s La Masia training camp at the age of 8. However, due to Barcelona’s breach of FIFA’s regulations regarding the transfer of players under 18, Kubo was forced to leave the team.
