[Saba Sports News] With approximately a month left until the Paris Olympics, badminton players who are participating in the competition are currently focused on their preparations and eagerly awaiting the event. Recently, Taiwanese badminton player Tai Tzu Ying held a local autograph session as a way to express her gratitude to her fans who have supported her throughout the years. The event successfully attracted hundreds of fans, with some even lining up since noon the day before in order to secure a limited number of spots for the autograph session. This remarkable turnout highlights Tai Tzu Ying’s immense popularity. Despite being busy training for the Olympics, she made a rare appearance at the autograph session, allowing her to engage closely with her fans. Overwhelmed by the enthusiastic response, she expressed her joy by saying, “It has been a long time since I last held an autograph session, and I’m very happy to see so many people here!” At the age of 29, Tai Tzu Ying possesses exceptional badminton skills, often hailed for her dexterity and swift footwork, earning her the nickname “ghost hand.” However, despite numerous attempts during her prime, she fell short of winning gold medals in the Olympics and World Championships, thus being regarded as the “uncrowned king” of the badminton world.
