[Saba Sports News] The Phoenix Suns are facing a significant challenge in bringing their star trio together on the court. On Friday, the team disclosed that guard Bradley Beal will be out for at least another three weeks due to a lower back strain. Beal, already hampered by the same issue during training camp, has been restricted to only three games this season.
Complicating matters, these games coincided with Devin Booker’s injury absence, preventing the Suns’ anticipated lineup of Beal, Booker, and Kevin Durant from playing together.
Beal, a three-time All-Star recently traded to the Suns, has underperformed in the limited appearances he has made, recording a near-decade low of 17.3 points per game and a career-worst 39.1 percent shooting.
This latest update rules Beal out of the In-Season Tournament and suggests he may not return until a December 12 game against the Golden State Warriors at the earliest. While Booker has returned from his injury, the substantial investment in Beal has yet to yield the expected results for Phoenix.
