[Saba Sports News] As the Golden State Warriors prepare to face the Los Angeles Lakers in their fourth 2024-25 preseason game on Tuesday night, Stephen Curry is set to return from a finger injury.
But before tip-off, Steve Kerr shifted the conversation to Curry’s summer with LeBron James on Team USA.
“It was a bromance,” Kerr said of the Curry-James pairing, according to reports.
Kerr’s comment is fitting, given LeBron’s own reflections on playing with Curry and Kevin Durant, “Should’ve, could’ve, would’ve, but we didn’t [lose]. You have myself, [Kevin Durant], and [Steph Curry], you have that type of firepower at any moment… We all got our opportunities. You see what Steph did in the gold medal game, what he did in the semifinals. You see what KD was doing when he came back from his injury, and I was able to sprinkle my moments in throughout the summer. But, I mean, how do you lose when you have three of the best players to play the game of basketball in this league?”
The camaraderie between these stars is clear. While Durant and Curry won two championships together in Golden State, Curry and LeBron have faced off in numerous NBA Finals.
This season, fans are eager to see how Curry performs as the Warriors’ primary star.
