[Saba Sports News] FIFA has released the long-awaited
news regarding the host countries for the 2030 World Cup. The chosen nations
are Spain, Portugal, and Morocco. Similar to the 2026 World Cup, the 2030
edition will be co-hosted by three countries through a joint bid. This particular
World Cup holds significant importance as it commemorates the 100th anniversary
of the inaugural tournament hosted by Uruguay in 1930. In recognition of this
milestone, the FIFA Council has unanimously agreed to hold a special centenary
celebration ceremony in Montevideo, the capital of Uruguay. As a result of
their joint hosting responsibilities, Morocco, Portugal, and Spain will
automatically qualify for the 2030 World Cup.
