[Saba Sports News] Currently, Sauber is at the bottom of the F1 team standings and is the only team this season without any points. In light of this, the team has decided to restructure its management by bringing in former Ferrari team principal Mattia Binotto as the new chief operating officer and chief technical officer. Binotto is also working hard to build Sauber’s brand value. In a media interview yesterday, Binotto stated that Audi cannot accept Sauber’s current performance and urged the team to improve in multiple areas, demanding that Sauber become a winning team. Binotto revealed that the team needs to make continuous progress step by step and requires comprehensive improvements in personnel, organizational structure, tools, processes, methodologies, and facilities. It is also about culture and mindset; there needs to be a change in employees’ complacent attitudes to meet future development requirements. Therefore, the team needs to balance all priorities between short-term, mid-term, and long-term plans. Binotto believes that after Audi takes full control, the team will become a winning force.
