[Saba Sports News] The
2024 F1 season is set to feature 24 races. Given the high-intensity nature of
the sport, maintaining physical and mental well-being is crucial for drivers.
Personal trainers play a vital role in ensuring that drivers remain in top
condition both on and off the track. In late November of the previous year,
Bradley Scanes, the physical coach who had been working with three-time world
champion Max Verstappen for four years, announced his retirement from F1. As a
result, Verstappen found himself searching for a new strength and conditioning
coach. Eventually, he hired Rupert Manwaring, who had previously served as the
fitness coach for Carlos Sainz Jr. for eight years. Sainz displayed generosity
and did not express any complaints about Manwaring’s departure. Instead, he
took to social media to bid farewell to his former fitness coach. Sainz expressed
his gratitude, stating that eight years of working together cannot be summed up
in a single video. He thanked Manwaring for his hard work, dedication, and
support throughout the years and wished him the best as they both continue
striving for their respective goals.
