[Saba Sports News] Indian cricket captain Rohit Sharma made an unexpected appearance at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium during the Bangladesh team’s training session. He arrived in his Lamborghini, catching everyone by surprise.
While the Bangladeshi players were training, Rohit’s arrival delighted fans, and he had a heartwarming interaction with Shoaib Ali, known as ‘Tiger Shoaib,’ a superfan from Bangladesh.
Rohit rolled down his car window and said to Shoaib casually, “Arey tu yaha agaya (Hey, you’re here!).” Shoaib was overwhelmed by the gesture, praising Rohit’s down-to-earth personality.
“I was waiting along with some other Bangladeshi fans outside the main gate of the stadium as the team was training inside the ground. Suddenly I spotted a blue car with Rohit Sharma in the driving seat. I shouted his name. The next moment, Rohit stopped his car and spoke to me. This is why he is a big player, he is a very down-to-earth person,” the fan said with tears in his eyes.
Sharma’s early arrival for training shows his dedication as he prepares for the upcoming ODI World Cup 2023 match against Bangladesh. India is in good form, remaining undefeated in the tournament, with Rohit’s standout performances against Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Fans hope to see him score another century, as he already has seven ODI World Cup centuries to his name. On the other hand, Bangladesh faces the challenge of recovering from recent defeats against England and New Zealand after a comfortable win over Afghanistan in their tournament opener.
