[Saba Sports News] Even though he didn’t play in the match, a Houston Rockets player eagerly participated in the recent criticism of the Washington Wizards. The Rockets overpowered the Wizards, securing a 135-119 victory on Thursday, which further deteriorated Washington’s record to the league’s worst at 11-55.
Following the game, Rockets forward Tari Eason, sidelined for the season due to left leg surgery, took a dig at Wizards’ Kyle Kuzma in a post on X.
“It’s like at this point don’t be that team,” Eason wrote.
Eason’s comment was a jab at Kuzma’s previous post from last December, mocking the Detroit Pistons’ ongoing losses, which implied no team wanted to end the Pistons’ losing streak. Ironically, the Wizards now find themselves with a worse record than the Pistons had, despite Washington’s recent 16-game losing skid and only five victories in 2024 as St. Patrick’s Day approaches.
Despite the backlash, Kuzma, known for attracting memes, might find it hard to garner sympathy.
