[Saba Sports News] The 2024 F1 Chinese Grand Prix
is scheduled to take place in Shanghai from April 19th to April 21st. The RB F1
team, sponsored by Visa Cash App, has officially announced that Daniel
Ricciardo will be equipped with a new chassis for the Chinese Grand Prix. Ricciardo
has had a challenging start to the 2024 season, failing to outperform his
teammate Yuki Tsunoda in the first three races. In an effort to assist
Ricciardo in overcoming his current difficulties, RB Racing Director Alan
Permane has made the decision to introduce a brand-new chassis for the Chinese
Grand Prix. Permane mentioned that the new chassis incorporates modifications
such as a front spar, new side fins, and a small detail around the rear tire.
These adjustments are expected to provide a slight increase in downforce and
enhance performance, particularly in slow corners on the track. Some car
enthusiasts remarked that the chassis, a large carbon fiber component that
connects the suspension system, engine, and gearbox, undergoes extensive design
and production processes involving thousands of hours of precise calculations.
Consequently, the likelihood of performance issues arising from the chassis is
minimal. It is believed that Ricciardo’s initial struggles this season are
primarily attributable to factors within his control.
