Sports News] According to recent reports, the Red Bull Racing Team has
initiated the search for a new team leader following the revelation of a sexual
harassment scandal involving their current team leader, Christian Horner.
Horner’s work has been halted, and if no suitable resolution is found, his
position will be replaced. Several potential candidates are being considered,
including Steiner, who recently lost his job at Haas, Saillenard, and the
team’s current sporting director, Jonathan. Among the candidates, the editor
believes that Jonathan, the current team sports director, would be the most
ideal choice if Red Bull decides to make a change. Jonathan is the most
experienced candidate within the Red Bull Racing Team and was the preferred
choice of Max Verstappen, the 2021 World Championship winner. Jonathan has been
with Red Bull Racing for many years and possesses extensive experience and
professional knowledge. His career in Formula 1 began in 1991 as a team
mechanic with Benetton, and he progressed to become McLaren’s chief mechanic in
1997. Since joining Red Bull Racing in 2009, he has served as the team’s sports
director, overseeing the management and coordination of various departments and
contributing to the technical research and development of the racing car. As
Red Bull Racing moves forward, the search for a new team leader is underway,
with Jonathan being highlighted as a strong candidate due to his long-standing
experience and familiarity with the team.
