[Saba Sports News] Former Formula One driver Ralf Schumacher, the younger brother of seven-time world champion and Ferrari driver Michael Schumacher, recently made a surprising announcement on his social media platforms. Ralf publicly revealed that he is gay. He posted a photo accompanied by the caption: “The best thing in life is when you have the right partner by your side with whom you can share everything.” The photo depicted him cuddling with another man while watching the sunset on the sea. Ralf, 49, won six Grand Prix races during his 11-year career, which ended in 2007. He was previously married to Cora, with whom he has a son named David, now 22. The late British driver Mike Beuttler, who raced from 1971 to 1973 and passed away in 1988, is the only other known openly gay male driver in the history of Formula One.
