[Saba Sports News] In a unique development, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has come out with a plan to punish those sleeping inside the dressing room during match hours by introducing a $500 fine.
As reported by Geo News, the PCB decide the crack the whip after it came to their notice that a few players not playing the match during the ongoing Test series against Australia were found sleep inside the team dressing room.
“The players have been warned and informed about the development. It is done on the instructions of Team Director Mohammad Hafeez,” a source said as quoted to Geo News.
The report further added that a few of the Pakistan players used to sleep in the dressing room when the previous PCB management was at the helm. However, the current administration led by Mohammad Hafeez has communicated to the players that this will no longer be tolerated.
Pakistan are already 0-1 down in the three-match Test series versus Australia. In the second fixture, Australia lead by 241 runs in the second innings at the end of the third day. For the hosts, the score currently reads 187/6.
