[Saba Sports] Over a year into his ESPN partnership, Pat McAfee is still searching for an NBA analyst for The Pat McAfee Show.
In a social media post on Wednesday, McAfee announced he’s looking to hire a former NBA player as a periodic contributor. He noted that he expected ESPN resources to make this process easier, but scheduling conflicts with ESPN’s NBA crew have made it challenging.
“I need an NBA expert(s) for the progrum…just someone to FaceTime periodically,” McAfee shared on X. “I will pay, because I pay everybody for their contributions to our show.”
McAfee’s regular NBA contributor, Shams Charania, may also appear less frequently now, given his expanded role at ESPN. With McAfee’s show growing in popularity, he’s likely to find the right NBA voice soon.
