[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, a Nigerian law student who racially abused Arsenal star Bukayo Saka claimed he did not intend to be racist and thus avoided prison time. Suher Ali, a 20-year-old Arsenal fan, posted an audio message on social media in May last year in response to Arsenal’s defeat by Nottingham Forest, during which he racially abused Saka, including using the N-word. The city university student, who shares Nigerian heritage with Saka, admitted to sending offensive messages via public communication networks and was sentenced to 12 months of conditional release and ordered to pay £111 in costs. Westminster Magistrate Kieran O’Donnell stated: “Your lawyer said your intention was not to be racist, but anyone who heard it would hear racist abuse. However, you have a good character record, no prior convictions, and you are very remorseful.” What do Arsenal fans think about this?
