[Saba Sports News] Miles Bridges is set to return to the NBA with the Charlotte Hornets after completing a 30-game suspension for a domestic violence incident. The team confirmed his return, stating they’re comfortable with his rejoining, while continuing to monitor the ongoing legal process.
Bridges, who re-signed with the Hornets in the summer, has been out since his June 2022 arrest. Despite pleading no contest to the felony charge, he maintained his innocence. The 30-game suspension was partially served while he was a free agent. Hornets coach Steve Clifford expects Bridges to play a significant role immediately, particularly as the team currently holds a 3-7 record.
Bridges, who averaged 20 points in the 2021-22 season, may play as soon as Friday against the Milwaukee Bucks.
