[Saba Sports News] Previously, French media reported that Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold was considering acquiring Nantes through a fund co-owned with his father. The reported acquisition plan is valued at €100 million, with €80 million needing to be paid upfront, €20 million as credit financing, and an additional €40 million as potential bonuses. The report also suggested that Arnold’s father met with Waldemar Kita three times, including one video meeting before their meeting in Geneva. In response, Nantes owner and president Waldemar Kita denied claims that Arnold planned to acquire the Ligue 1 club. Kita stated, “This is all nonsense! Where did this come from? How can you expect a serious person wanting to buy a club to go back and hire a journalist? Arnold? But I don’t know him at all! Someone told me his father is in finance, and they have players and agents. I have never had a video meeting with anyone, never. This is ridiculous; how could there be such rumors!” Additionally, sources close to Arnold have refuted media claims about the potential acquisition of this Ligue 1 club.
