[Saba Sports News] In the recently concluded
Champions League group stage, Bundesliga team Bayern Munich secured a promising
start by defeating Premier League team Manchester United with a score of 4-3.
Remarkably, this match marked a significant milestone in the career of Bayern
player Thomas Muller, as it was his 100th win in the Champions League.
Following the game, Muller was presented with a personalised jersey by the club
to commemorate this achievement. Throughout his career, Muller has participated
in 143 Champions League matches, with 100 of them resulting in victories. He
now joins an elite group as the third player in the history of the Champions
League to reach this milestone. The first two players to achieve this feat are
Cristiano Ronaldo with 115 wins and Iker Casillas with 101 wins. Muller stands
a strong chance of surpassing Casillas’ record of 101 wins.
