[Saba Sports News] Manchester United have released
their financial accounts for the fiscal year ending on June 30th. Despite
achieving record revenue of £648.4 million, the club incurred a loss of £28.7
million. In breaking news, The Athletic reported that Manchester United secured
an additional £100 million loan through its revolving credit facility, bringing
the total loan amount to £773 million. Furthermore, the club still has
outstanding transfer dues amounting to £317.8 million, resulting in a total
debt exceeding £1 billion. Concerns have been raised by some fans, suggesting
that Manchester United’s revival may be challenging unless the Glazer family
departs. Presently, the club’s financial situation is dire, to the extent that
they lack funds for necessary repairs to Old Trafford stadium.
