Premier League, Manchester United, Eric ten Hag, Jadon
Sancho
[Saba Sports News] British media reports indicate that
a number of Manchester United players are in disagreement with Erik ten Hag’s
choice to remove Jadon Sancho from the squad. During a recent pre-match press
conference, Ten Hag stated, “Sancho will not feature in tomorrow’s line-up
against Burnley. His future at Manchester United depends on himself.” In
the fourth round of the Premier League, Manchester United suffered a 3-1 defeat
against Arsenal. Following the match, Ten Hag revealed that Sancho was not
included in the squad due to his performance in training. Sancho himself voiced
his dissatisfaction, claiming that he was being treated unfairly and used as a
scapegoat, harboring this sentiment for a significant period of time. On the
14th of this month, Manchester United issued a statement addressing the
conflict between Sancho and Ten Hag. The statement outlined that Sancho would
continue to train separately from the first team until his disciplinary issues
were resolved. However, it appears that a majority of players within Manchester
United do not agree with Ten Hag’s approach.
