Sports News] During the recent FA Cup match between Manchester United and
Liverpool, a significant incident occurred involving the fans. With a
staggering attendance of 72,000 spectators, security checks were conducted by
the police as fans entered the stadium. During these checks, it was discovered
that some fans had brought prohibited items into the venue. As a result, eight
individuals were arrested on various charges, including possession of fireworks
and throwing smoke bombs. The Premier League has implemented regulations since
2022, stating that fans engaging in anti-social or criminal behavior will face
a minimum one-year ban from entering stadiums. This includes carrying or
igniting fireworks or smoke bombs without permission. Additionally, fans
involved in stadium intrusion, discriminatory behavior, or mocking
football-related disasters will also be prohibited from attending matches.
