[Saba Sports News] Yesterday, Malaysian women’s doubles badminton star Thinaah Muralitharan received a Chery Omoda 5 sedan. Chery Malaysia released a photo of Thinaah Muralitharan with the black SUV, welcoming her to the Chery family and hoping she reaches new heights in her future endeavors. At the Paris Olympics, Thinaah Muralitharan and her partner Pearly Tan achieved an impressive fourth place in women’s doubles badminton, exciting all fans. In addition to Thinaah Muralitharan, the men’s doubles pair Aaron and Wooi Yik, as well as singles star LZJ, received a Tiggo 7 Pro sedan as a reward for winning bronze medals in badminton at the Olympics. It is reported that this is part of Chery Group’s commitment to provide free cars to medal winners. However, Thinaah Muralitharan’s Omoda 5 sedan is not free since she did not win a medal; she only received a 30% discount from Chery Group. The Chery Omoda 5 sedan is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with a power output of 156 PS/230 Nm, with the high-end version priced at RM118800. Compared to the low-end version, the high-end version adds features such as electric driver seats, ventilated front seats, hands-free electric tailgate, electric sunroof, speed limit assistance, traffic sign recognition, and a 360-degree camera.
