[Saba Sports News] Six Malaysian badminton coaches are concerned about the upcoming Paris Olympics in July. During the recently concluded Malaysian Badminton Open, the performance of the Malaysian national team was not satisfactory. Only the mixed doubles team managed to win the final championship, while the other events ended in defeat. Head coach Rexy Mainaky expressed his worries in a media interview, stating that if the players fail to acknowledge their shortcomings and learn from their failures, there is cause for concern. However, if they can recognize their problems, Rexy believes there is still enough time to make necessary changes before the Olympics. Rexy, a former Indonesian badminton legend, has an impressive coaching career, having trained Koo Kien Keat and Tan Boon Heong, two current Malaysian badminton players.
