[Saba Sports News] Lin
Dan, the Olympic champion in badminton, has invested in civilian hyperbaric
oxygen chambers to make them more accessible to sports stars and enthusiasts.
Traditionally, hyperbaric oxygen chambers were costly to construct and only
affordable for top athletes like David Beckham, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Neymar.
However, Lin Dan recognized the potential of hyperbaric oxygen chambers in
China and decided to introduce them to the civilian market. During exercise,
the body’s oxygen consumption increases, and when the intensity of exercise
surpasses the body’s aerobic metabolism supply, anaerobic metabolism is
initiated, leading to fatigue and muscle soreness. High-intensity exercise can
also cause tissue damage. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy stimulates and repairs
cellular functions, alleviates exercise fatigue, and helps athletes recover
faster from injuries. In the realm of badminton, maintaining a high level of
competitiveness requires intensive training, and injuries pose a significant
threat to an athlete’s career. Therefore, having comprehensive supporting
facilities, including hyperbaric oxygen chambers, is crucial for athletes’
success.
