[Saba Sports News] With the Paris Olympics fast
approaching, the Chinese badminton team is undergoing intensive preparations.
In the previous Olympic Games’ badminton events, the Chinese team reached the
finals in all five categories, ultimately securing two gold medals and four
silver medals. The Chinese badminton team carries high expectations in the
Paris arena, and one can only imagine the immense pressure they face.
Considering this, Li Junhui, the silver medalist in men’s doubles at the Tokyo
Olympics and the global ambassador for the VICTOR brand, provided advice to the
younger generation. He expressed his hope that players would find their usual
rhythm and that younger team members would minimize distractions and pressure,
allowing them to focus on showcasing their abilities. Li Junhui shared that his
first Olympic experience in Tokyo was filled with excitement, but the encouragement
he received from those around him also brought about some pressure. Each
athlete has their own unique routines and must discover their own competitive
mindset. According to available information, Li Junhui chose to retire after
reaching the men’s doubles finals at the Tokyo Olympics due to physical
injuries and other reasons. Following his retirement, he signed a contract with
the VICTOR brand and dedicated himself to promoting VICTOR badminton products.
