[Saba Sports News] Recently, Malaysian legendary star Lee Chong Wei appeared on a talk show where, in addition to discussing the upcoming Olympics, he shared some personal aspects of his life. When asked about the widespread rumors claiming that he owns more than ten cars, Lee Chong Wei clarified that while he does own several cars, it is not as exaggerated as the rumors suggest. Furthermore, he emphasized that his cars are all practical vehicles. Lee Chong Wei openly admits to being a car enthusiast, and he revealed that his first car was a Proton Wira. He also recalled a conversation with his coach during his badminton days. At the age of 19, when asked about his dream, Lee Chong Wei responded, “I want to be the number one or number two player in Malaysia and buy a car.” Now, after retiring, Lee Chong Wei focuses on his family and currently has no plans to return to the Badminton Association as a coach. However, he still meets with the national team once or twice a month to share experiences and address any issues.
