[Saba Sports News] In the recently concluded F1 Monaco race, Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc emerged victorious, clinching the Monaco Grand Prix in his hometown for the second consecutive year with a time of 2 hours, 23 minutes, 15 seconds, and 55 milliseconds. During a media interview, Leclerc expressed his gratitude towards his late father for his championship win. He stated, “It has always been our shared dream to race in our hometown. I still can’t believe it. He sacrificed everything for me to be able to stand on this stage.” It is worth mentioning that this marked Leclerc’s third pole position in Monaco within the last four years, although previous car and strategy issues prevented him from reaching the podium. This victory not only belonged to Leclerc but also marked his sixth career win. The last time he secured the champion’s gold cup was at the Australian Grand Prix in July 2022. The F1 Monaco Grand Prix is a renowned annual Formula One race held in Monaco, known for its historical significance and prestige. Typically, it takes place in May or June each year.
