[Saba Sports News] National Match Day is fast
approaching in mid-October. Yesterday, Yahoo Japan reported that South Korean
national team coach Jurgen Klinsmann has suggested to the Korean Football
Association the idea of establishing an office in Europe. Klinsmann stated that
70% of the national team players currently play in Europe, and having offices
in cities like London would enable better monitoring of the players’ physical
condition. Earlier this year, the Japan Football Association also established
an office in Dusseldorf, Germany, to oversee and assess players’ activities in
Europe. Some fans have jokingly remarked that both Japan and South Korea seem
to be aiming to leave Asia and join Europe, given their establishment of
offices on the continent.
